The missions commission exists to inform and educate the congregation and community of pioneer CHurch to the condition and needs of world and provide opportunities for giving, challenges to serve and the ability to provide resources to those in need.
With a theme like “What in the World!?”we can go anywhere in showing faith being put into action.
The second night in the series will take place Tuesday, November 11 at 6:00 pm. Everyone is invited to come and share an evening in Sierra Leone, West Africa held in the Parlor.
Henry Musa Kpaka, an outstanding Whitman student, has helped to plan the menu and will be telling us about his country and his call to help the youth of Sierra Leone assume responsibility in bringing that country back to health after an ugly civil war.
Come and hear Musa’s story and enjoy a simple African supper provided by the Missions Commission.
