Journey of Faith
Pioneer is on an exciting Journey of Faith. Following an inspiring capital campaign in 2007, the architectural drawings for the building remodel and addition were created by Architects West, and, after numerous revisions in Building Committee meetings, were given final approval by the Administrative Board. The project will provide increased accessibility with the addition of an elevator. The new lobby will be welcoming, and the expanded kitchen will make serving meals in the parlor much more efficient. This ambitious project is challenging us to look at how we use our resources, and how God is calling us to reach out to others. We have been blessed by the giving of those who came before us, and now we look ahead to providing not only for our present needs, but also for those who will come after us. At a special all-church meeting on April 20th, the entire project was given final approval and it was announced that an additional $330,000 had been pledged during the previous week! Our congregation is incredibly generous and supportive of this exciting project.
