Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care ministry is headed by Jim Graham and is available if a person is in

need of a pastoral visit or call. If you or someone you know is needing pastoral

Pastoral Counseling

Pastor Tom is happy to meet individually with those who are in crisis or feel a special

spiritual need. Although he has years of experience in short-term counseling, he is not a

licensed professional counselor. Therefore, visits are normally limited to no more than

three sessions of "pre-counseling" to provide immediate support and direction as people

begin the process of recovery and growth. To schedule an appointment please contact

Prayer Chain

The Prayer Chain keeps the Pioneer Community abreast of certain prayer needs as they

are made known to the church office or members of Pioneer. If you would like to submit

a prayer request or be added to the prayer chain please contact the church office by

Health Ministries

The Health Ministry Team at Pioneer Church is responsible for providing Pastoral support

and keeping the congregation aware of health issues. Each month, the Health Ministry

provides blood pressure checks. The Health Ministry Team also plans and promotes an

annual Health Fair.

Transportation

Sunday morning transportation to the Traditional Celebration 10:30 a.m. service is

available if needed. Currently the church van picks up at Wheatland Village and the

Mariam Street Apartments (Oddfellows). If you are in need of a ride for either Sunday

morning or another church event, please contact the church office by phone

Bereavement Receptions Committee

The Bereavement Receptions Ministry provides service to those families who have lost a

loved one. They take charge of the funeral/memorial service receptions.
